Los Angeles, CA May 3, 2011 – In a society riddled with so many stereotypes, misconceptions, and distorted images of what it means to be normal and accepted, today’s youth have drawn a fine line between the popular and the outcast. According to the US Secret Service, bullying was a factor in 2/3 of the 37 school shootings reviewed as well 30% of students who reported they had been bullied said they had at times brought weapons to school. What we are dealing with is an epidemic with fatal repercussions and emotional scars that lead to difficulty adapting to society on both ends. Not to fret there is hope; in schools where there are bullying programs, bullying was reduced by 50%. Also helping combat this issue and raise awareness is YMCMB artist, Lil Chuckee, the youngest member on this highly touted roster. He introduced his “Stop the Bullying Tour” in March 2011 which coincided with the travel locations of the I Am Music Tour headlined by YMCMB CEO, Lil Wayne and First Lady, Nicki Minaj.  Lil Chuckee wanted to promote Education, Empowerment, and Accountability as well as give back in a way relatable to the individuals he spoke to.

Aimed specifically at high schools and youth detention centers, Chuckee took the time to visit over 20 locations speaking on the importance of staying in school, the impact of negative decisions, standing up for what is right, and exhibiting leadership. Along this journey he was accompanied by his Manager “Big Man”,’’FU’’

aka Momanger, road manager ‘’Body’’, Money Hungry Radio and his PR Kay Harris. In addition to high schools and detention centers, he also took the cause to radio stations to further express his concern for today’s youth. A humbling experience for all involved, Chuckee was most affected not just for headlining the tour but also because he was able to witness firsthand both gruesome and heroic stories from students touched by his thoughtfulness and compassion. “Stop the Bullying Tour” was as much a promotional campaign to raise awareness as it was a learning experience.

Lil Chuckee of Young Money Records I would say def gives back to the community, visiting his hometown NEW ORLEANS april 12th Chuckee made a surprise visit while on his ''Stop the Bullying Tour''. Lil Chuckee went to Q93radio station for his Interview, a public high school, then afterwards to go visit ''Bridge City Center for Youth'' Juvenille Detention'' he spoke to a population of 132 young adults about alot of positive outlooks pertaining to they're possibilities of future success. In The Mixx DJs Recording Room Tour Headlined by ''Mehka, Ivisible Man Media'' started Jan 30th 2011 making Atlanta GA the first stop.  I had the opportunity to join one of the stops which was held in Charlotte NC at Velocity's, Bricksquad, Gutta Mag, Word on the Street mag, Monopoly, True sun ali of Bklyn,of course 704 djs and others were in attendance of that particular event. In the Mixx DJs Recording Room Tour will continue through out the year making stops withing different states, choosing various business markets such as {Clothing, Footwear,Music Boutiques, Galleries, etc} giving the opportunity for massive publicity. The tour team will be in attendance of many musical  events such as the BET Awards & BET Hip Hop Awards. The purpose of this tour is to capture interviews with some of the most prominent names in the industry, while giving the general public a glimpse of the filming process works.

Brief Interview w/ BLACKSTORM (Music Artist/Producer)

I had the chance to catch up with ''Blackstorm'' an established Music Artist & Producer from Queens NY now residing in Raleigh NC to talk about his upcoming projects and New Official Video ''Hot Like Fire''...

PRKayHarris: So tell me how did you begin your career as an music artist?

Blackstorm: Well I Started by Dj'ing first at the age of 13yrs old, then from there I went to producing, studying music & the art of it. I started writing music in 97'' investing in myself and it all went from there.

PRKayHarris: With you relocating from NY what was your biggest accomplishment in the new state of NC pertaining to your music?

Blackstorm:  umm I gained a fan base quickly, the first music award event, I was nominated for the achievement award in NC, getting love from many DJ's and club promoters. But overall it was the heavy reconigniton and support of what I have been doing for so long.

PRKayHarris: Do you have a upcoming project that your working now?

Blackstorm: Im working on the street album which is the 3rd edition of Im the boss series. Hosted by the build ya brand Dj's. The album will be released in late march or april 2011.

PRKayHarris: What are some goals for your career/music 3yrs from now?

Blackstorm: In the near future I want to get the masses, having my music heard nationwide, I want people to be like awww Blackstorm (''he laughs) that successful mogul with a successful company ''protege'.

PRKayHarris: Who inspires you?

Blackstorm: I looked up to dj kid capri, he was the main person who motivated me, The lost boyz, especially  Freaky Ty, of course Dr Dre, Jay-z, Biggie and  50 cent, he was a child hood friend.

PRKayHarris: So you have a new video out ''HOT LIKE FIRE'' what was the breakdown of that project?

Blackstorm: Honestly when I got that record 2yrs ago, I knew it was going to be official. A few I had involved that supported was umm you of course{laughs} (''Kay Harris'') n the Glass Kandii Models, Ifilms/HD vision & Hamdiya Moore with filming and directing, the video was featured by the lovely ''Mica Swain'' also ''Hersh'' which he is from my hometown ''Brooklyn'' and many more. I let the people hear it including you first before it was released and everyone who listened loved it and thought it was def hot. It was released  feb 14th and all i can say, the rest is history.
